A user-friendly, intelligent operating system allows interaction with the building. Among other things, the temperature of the under-floor heating can be set independently for every corner of the building, and, no matter what colour, the lights in every room may be controlled with specific switches. Gira also provides security against burglary: motion detectors positioned nearby every entrance enables monitoring of the entire property. In the case of a technical failure or burglary, the mobile connection to the KNX system promptly alerts the owner and security staff.
As a portable device, the smartphone enables remote control of the building, even from great distance.
